Azure上的新产品SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud能让客户在微软的云端运行SAP S/4HANA。两家公司承诺,客户能够同时享用两家公司的优势产品,包括Azure智能化、可靠的云端(以及其他云服务),以及SAP的应用管理以及产品经验。微软和SAP声称,可口可乐、好市多以及Columbia Sportswear等大牌公司都是自己的客户,这些客户都非常看好这次新合作,因为它能驱动双方的云战略。
另外,两家公司还宣布,Azure上的S/4HANA将被会被用内部运营。SAP表示它会把数十个企业系统移动到Azure上,包括SAP S/4Hana等。微软表示目前正在革新自己的内部系统,它会把Azure上传统的SAP财务应用换成SAP S/4HANA Central Finance,另外它还想将SAP S/4HANA与Azure的人工智能以及分析服务相连接,这样可以使财务报告更加精准,决策更加高效。
一直以来,微软都在吸引更多软件公司来使用Azure上的产品,并试图挑战亚马逊AWS的地位,和SAP的合作只是这项战略的一部分。亚马逊在这块市场中仍然占据主要地位,它的AWS提供了100多种不同的服务。
